Indeed Laboratories Peptalash II Review

Peptalash II from Indeed Laboratories is a lash lengthening treatment that claims to repair breakage, lengthen, strengthen and thicken eyelashes, giving lashes three times the volume in 15 days.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua / Eau), Glycerin, Caprylyl Glycol, Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Biotonyl Tripeptide-1, N-prolyl Palmitoyl Tripeptide-56 Acetate, 1,2-hexanediol, Polysorbate 20, Lactitol, Xylitol, Troxerutin, Pentylene Glycol, Panthenol, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hydroxide, Lecithin, Sodium Benzoate, Benzoic Acid, Citric Acid

Going over some key ingredients, Peptalash contains stem cells from the Swiss apple that slows follicle aging allowing for longer lashes; a lipo-oligopeptide that stimulates keratin, thickening and lengthening the lashes; Widelash, a peptide that conditions the lashes for length, strength and fullness; panthenol that moisturizes and conditions the eyelash; Hairspa for moisture; and a tetrapeptide to reduce vertical lines and crow’s feet. I thought the inclusion of this tetrapeptide was odd as Peptalash is to be applied to the lash line, but I guess might be useful for crepiness at the lash line or when extended to the outer corners of the eyes.

Directions: Twist the pen applicator and apply a small amount of Peptalash II to upper and lower lash line morning and evening. Indeed Labs recommends following with their eye cream, Eysillix II, which I also purchased and will post the review soon.

Peptalash has a clear liquid formula with a fine pen tip applicator that is easy to apply to the lash line. The green top twists and the product moves to the tip of the pen. Quite often I would have to twist the top 3 or 4 times to get anything out, then sometimes getting too much product, and sometimes twisting once would give too much product, with drops falling into the sink or into my eye.

I have short, thin lashes that grow a bit downward. For a review of other lash lengthening products I’ve tried, click here and here. I used Peptalash for 2-1/2 months twice a day, morning and evening, and the product ran out at that time (there were some wasted drops as mentioned above).

Because of how my lashes grow, results are a bit difficult to see in the photos. In the mirror, I noticed my bottom eyelashes were quite a bit longer; the top not particularly, maybe a bit of subtle length. I wouldn’t say I had 3 times increased volume as claimed, though in the photos, my top lashes perhaps look a bit thicker and no increased volume of my bottom lashes.

At about 2 months, 2 weeks before I ran out of product, the bottom lashes on the outer half of my right eye were very noticeably suddenly short, I gather due to breakage (maybe part of the reason my lashes are always short); Peptalash also claims to strengthen the lashes and reduce breakage, so perhaps not living up to this claim.

I got better results using the lash serum from BioBliss, however, at about 3 times the price.

Indeed Laboratories’ Peptalash II gives okay results; I was impressed with the length on my bottom lashes, however, it does not really perform as claimed; the price is good though to give it a try. I will not repurchase, instead maybe opting for argan or squalane oil for nourishing and conditioning; hopefully if my lashes are moisturized, I can prevent some breakage.

Thanks for reading.
